Cutlery Drawer
One of the more time consuming projects, and therefore expensive if a shop did it, is the divider systems for the various drawers. The worst of which is the cutlery drawer. Sure you can buy organizers from different stores, but almost all don't really fit well. And the look, well… yuck!
So after trying the store bought solution, and hating it, we decided to do it the right way. There just needed to be some thought as to all the items that were going to be stored there, and how we wanted to use it. Then it was just a matter of getting the wood, cutting it up, and glueing everything together. We finished it off with varnish and cork inserts so things wouldn't rattle. The result was perfect for what we wanted.
