2011 Hackberry Trail

Whenever you get the chance to go on a trail ride with one of the pre-eminent off-road instructors of our time, you just have to take it. This was the case for us and the Hackberry Trail southeast of Superior, Arizona.
Bill Burke was hosting this non-brand specific four wheel drive day trip as one of his Four Wheeling America excursions (http://bb4wa.com), so we wanted to tag along. We've spent time with Bill on a number of occasions when he has attended Land Rover rallies put on by either the Solihull Society or the Arizona Land Rover Owners club, and we've always enjoyed ourselves. But this time the trail ride wasn't part of any rally. It was just a bunch of like minded people who wanted to spend some quality time with Bill out on the trail. We all met up in the morning just outside of Superior, AZ and set out for an enjoyable day.
