Anza-Borrego State Park

March, 2011

Borrego Springs, California

A popular area for offroad enthusiasts,  the town of Borrego Springs lies just north of Anza-Borrego State Park. The park lies in the Colorado Desert of southern California, and is the largest park in the state with over 500 miles of dirt roads and trails for public use.

We set up in an RV park in Borrego Springs for a few days, as did our trail companions, Doug and Rachel Lawyer. They had the free time, and because of spring break, so did their children Cody and Ashlin.
